Tepi made of Bamboo by the Huni Kuin Tribe

This beautiful Tepi, a Rapé applicator, is crafted by the Huni Kuin Tribe, who reside in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, specifically in Acre. The Huni Kuin people live deep within the jungle, harmoniously coexisting with nature. They uphold a rich tradition centered around sacred medicines, with Rapé being one of the most significant, reflecting their deep connection and understanding of its use.

The Tepi is made from locally grown bamboo. The leaves that decorate this Tepi symbolize the Chacruna leaves associated with the Grandmother Medicine. Additionally, the decorative Wayrura seeds on the pipe are believed to ward off negative spirits and protect against the evil eye.
