Txana Huya Huni Kuin Kumaru Rapé

We are full of joy to introduce this new Rapé made by our friends  and teachersTxana Huya, from the Huni Kuin tribe in Brazil. Kumaru or Kumãwã in the Hatxa Kuin, brings protection and is a very strong force, giving us strength to resist the challenges of life because Kumaru is a very resistant tree.

Kumaru Rapé contains Nicotiana rustica leaves and ash from the bark of the Kumaru tree (Dipteryx odorata). This Rapé has a sharp edge when blown in the nostrils, waking you up into the present moment, with some slightly floral aromas. It promotes more subtle levels of concentration and perception and has a grounding quality bringing you back into the body. Huni Kuin and various tribes from Acred, Brasil also use Kumaru Rapé to clean the sinuses and protect against flu-like viruses.

This family of the twin brothers Txana Sia & Txana Busen, with their wives Txana Yaka and Txana Tamani, have been sharing their gifts of spirituality, joy, love, and deep wisdom, with a spiritual dieta and ceremonies with us and our family and friends. We are very grateful to receive their Sacred Rapé, which they have been making especially for us to share with you all.
